Verdoro's Delta Spruce on Fire came to Spruce Lane as an 8-week-old puppy in 1998. When choosing a Golden breeder, we researched and picked the best Golden Retriever breeder in Canada, Dr.Ann Greenbank, of Verdoro Kennels.
In 2001 Delta completed her Canadian championship which included a 3-point win at Edmonton Alberta , a 3-point win in Saskatoon , Saskatchewan at the Golden Specialty, and a 5 point Group win at Prince George , British Columbia.

Delta retired as a breeder in 2006. She now lives with Shannon Phillips and Andy Davies in Lethbridge, Alberta. She keeps fit by jogging in the coulees and swimming in the river. She makes her presence well known as a city slicker in Lethbridge.
*** NOTE: I am over 60 years old- was raised on a farm and had dogs for as far back as I can remember ( muts, different crosses,purebreds etc.) Delta is by far the smartest dog I have ever known.
